As a native New Yorker, I have long held a fascination
with the majesty of the New York skylines and the excitement of
city life and culture. For the last twenty years I have traveled
three or four times annually from my home in California to photograph
the many and ever-changing areas of New York City and the surrounding
metropolitan area.
In my work, I try to capture the timeless aspects of
the New York metropolis and its inhabitants.... the sadness and beauty, the
intimacy and grandeur of the most diverse and wonderful city on earth.
